Selain keputihan, tanda lain kecurigaan pada kanker leher rahim adalah Post Coital Bleeding, yaitu perdarahan yang dialami setelah senggama. 75-80% yang mengalaminya ternyata menderita kanker leher rahim. Perdarahan yang timbul akibat terbukanya pembuluh darah, makin lama makin sering terjadi, juga di luar senggama (perdarahan spontan). Perdarahan spontan ini umumnya terjadi pada tingkat klinik yang lebih lanjut (Stadium II dan III). Perdarahan spontan pervaginam saat defekasi (buang air besar) perlu juag dicurigai kemungkinan adanya kanker ini pada stadium lanjut. Adanya bau busuk yang khas, hingga bisa terbau orang lain pada jarak 2 meter, memperkuat dugaan ini. Adanya anemia merupakan penyerta akibat perdarahan yang berulang. Rasa nyeri akibat infiltrasi sel-sel ganas ke serabut saraf. Faktor resiko yang diamati secara retrospektif kanker leher rahim ini adalah : higiene yang buruk, masyarakat sosial ekonomi rendah, aktivitas seksual yang berganti-ganti pasangan, kebiasaan merokok, wanita dengan suami yang tidak dikhitan, wanita yang mengalami koitus(senggama) pertama pada umur < 16 tahun, wanita yang menderita infeksi virus HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) tipe 16 atau 18. Insidensi juga tampaknya meningkat dengan tingginya paritas (jumlah persalinan), apalagi bila jarak persalinannya terlampau dekat. Akhir-akhir ini juga ditemukan pada banyak pada penderita kanker leher rahim memiliki riwayat memakai kontrasepsi IUD (Intra Uterin Device)/alat kontrasepsi dalam rahim yang lama.
